Art Ain't Religion. Religion is Art.

Although I may appear to do all of the good things I am to perform in this life if I treat those around me, family, or stranger unkindly and not with love then all other efforts means dung. 1 Corinthians 13:2:3.
“My name by which eye I am affectionately called is, Judah. Eye was born on April 22, 1950 at 5:10 p.m. Eye was born in the Cook County hospital in the City of Chicago of bertha and the late Andrew Stallworth.”Awesome!
Question? Why do you spell I (eye)?
“The “eyes” are the window to the soul. I’m the conscious atavistic community. We feel too much emphasis is placed on the ego, the “I” and not nearly enough if at all energy is spent on the soul. It also bears witness that we have a third eye (the “eye” of Horus which is on the dollar bill.)”
Judah is also known as Michael Stallworth to many associates. Honestly, I’ve have yet to meet Judah in person, and am totally looking forward to the day that this actually happens. However, I have had the pleasure of meeting his Spirit, so-to-speak. He and I met via LinkedIn nearly two years ago. Who says social media can’t bring you friends, doesn’t know how to socialize.
I decided to write and share a blog about him because he to me he is one of the few who place their actions where their mouth is when it comes to promoting the arts and the Artist. His desire to follow his own path while encouraging others to do so is contagious.
Innately, Judah is an artist. A musician, composer, arranger and lyricist. He aspires to share his talent across and beyond the Chicago area. Judah realized he wanted to follow his passion as a musician after his first gig playing at a restaurant for donations earning a mere, $4.00. He looks back and shares a laugh about it, however just as many of artists, including myself have experienced a certain kind of inspiration from such seemingly small returns on our gift(s) and talent(s). There appears in our minds even for just a second that we may have a chance at becoming successful at this thing. So, many give it a try. Some of us over time, thrive. Some of us over time, strive. And, then there are those of us who just simple give up for one reason or another.
For the last several years Judah has been a TalkBlogRadio.com personality and show Host where he invites artist of various artistic backgrounds, and whom he sees doesn’t get their fair amount of recognition for their talent and or services among society. Earlier this year I had the pleasure of being a guest on his show. I truly appreciate the opportunity he brings with hosting his own radio show as he has a way with making his guests feel welcomed by providing a loving tone of voice which conveys a vision of charm contained by one who is filled with love and enthusiasm for life and for the Arts.
What many artist may find in common with Judah, as I have, is that he never gave up on himself regardless for the obstacles. And while he manages to promote himself whenever and wherever he can, he continues to encourage other artists by shear appreciation and support.
Judah, what made you go on air? “Eye wanted the show to serve dual purpose. One, promote my music. Two, promote highly talented positive artist of all specters. Eye felt people like myself (artist) should be acknowledged for their sacrifices. The sheer pleasure of meeting exciting personalities and allowing them to pour out their experiences and perspectives.
What kind of artistic training and, or educational experience do you have? “My musical education is 80% self-taught and learned. The other is a year’s piano lessons and singing formerly in High School and Church.”
Who were, or are your influences? “ Eyele Etunde from Blake Radio Rainbow Soul she focused on Kkemetian legacies. Professor Manu Ampim his show emanated from Berkley Calif. His focus was Ancient Black History. Baba Jehuty Maat Ra has a brilliant show on his channel DHealthstore.com. This brother magnificently illuminates topics from love to crystals to business to law.
Eye had the pleasure of listening to a Caucasian young man lecture on manifestation. He taught me how to bring things into being by declaring and writing them down. That was two years ago. Eye wrote down Eye live in Africa. Two years later Eye see a light at the end of my tunnel that leads me to tunnels that is presently leading me to buying a home in Africa! Eye have been blessed to work with a reggae band G.D Hemmings Reggae Music which is about to go international! Give thanks and praise.
What would you like to see more of on a spiritual level happen within our world? And, how could you see yourself being a part of this reckoning? “Eye would like to see my people turn to Ma’at. When we do that all else will land into its rightful place. It seems that our ancestors did laying the foundation a divine existence which if applied to in today’s world would be a much happier and peaceful place for you, and I. Each day the Most High sends is another opportunity to please our ancestors. Eye try to do good deeds whenever it is needed.”
Personally, I do not consider myself a religious person I do have my personal belief system. For those who are not familiar with Ma’at, please know that it has nothing to do with religion as I mistakenly considered and have since been corrected.
Ma’at seemingly has more to do with a concept of spiritual awareness and Being. “But, beloved eye have no religion. We just practice the teaching of Ma’at. We have no gathering place or no offerings. We just live as our ancestors did in our mind with the balance of Ma’at.”
No judgment here. The question was brought up because depending on our age group and level of cultural awareness most of us believe that artists create with their religion, and or political stance primarily in mind. That in and of itself takes on another blog.
